Coming out of Frog’s Way, you find beauty growing all around. In front, herbs and perennial flowers (pictured above) mingle together next to “low tunnels” that house edible greens, like the spinach below. These mini-greenhouses have netting that protect the greens from animals, burlap in summer to shield from overhead sun, and plastic in the cooler months to extend the growing season.
Behind the B&B, blueberries are ready to eat, and the grapes will be ripe in a month, all available for picking. Some of our neighbors have turned gardening into an art form (below), inspiring our own efforts.
