Cross-Cultural Community

We recently had a family of six visiting from Japan. Chizuru, the mom, was especially excited to learn about eco-village living, but was just beginning to get comfortable with English. Luckily, we found three neighbors who were fluent in her language and everything started to get clearer. The kids had fun decorating the B&B with paper crafts and Chizuru helped prepare the food for the community meals they attended.  (An organic, locally sourced dinner, with vegetarian and meat options, at $8 per adult, is hard to beat)
